We've been using those tiny socks since we got Barbie actually. We do have a bunch of pairs as they're pretty useful! Especially if your dog is hairy or paw-sensitive. These ones are made of fabric which means that they're not water resistant, but there are definitely socks with water resistant sole aka "dog shoes".
They're not expensive at all. Specifically, we got the ones below from eBay & they cost about $5 or less. They're my favorites of Barbie's wardrobe. ^^
ps: They're not dirty, they're just overused. lol
